Q: Why is there a monthly fee? 

A: The highly affordable $179/month fee allows us to send you a full display frame kit that is ‘rented’ from us so that you have no inventory carrying costs. It also allows for generous policies like free shipping, free remakes and warranties on frames and lenses. Frames always remain on your boards as we have full stock of inventory at the lab. Package requests go direct to the lab through our API ordering system with a 7-10 day turn-around. 

Q: What is my cost on any packages sold? 

A: You enjoy a 3x mark-up. The lowest profit is $100 on our most basic package: Discover SV (Any Frame Choice + SV Poly/CR-39 + AR at a $149 patient price). The highest profit is $330 for the Inspire Progressive with Add-On (Any Frame Choice + Trivex/1.67 + Gen 8 Transition or Polarized at a $499 patient price).  

Q: How can Twelve84® be used with vision care plans 

A: Our solution is an affordable cash-pay product that reduces dependency on VCPs. However, with traditional vision care plans, you have an option to purchase a frame only from Twelve84® for $49 with a $69 Frames Data list price to retail at your desired MSRP and use with an in-network lab. We drop-ship your frame selection to any U.S. lab of choice for Free.  

For plans without a network lab requirement or HCFA submission for reimbursement, Twelve84® packaged eyewear can be used. Simply assign V-Codes to the Twelve84® eyewear components and submit.

Q: Do you sell direct to patients online?

A: No! We sell exclusively through independent optometrists. Should we launch an e-commerce shopping option, it will funnel through our participating optometrists, so we can continue our mission of helping independent ODs stay independent.

Q: What is included in a pair of Twelve84® packaged eyewear? 

A: Each pair of Twelve84® glasses includes frame of choice, lenses, and an anti-reflective coating. We cover all secondary charges, like edging, mounting, roll & polish, prism, and shipping. The simple prices presented to you and your patient are exactly what you will pay- there’s NO hidden fees! All pairs come with a foldable case in a presentation box and branded cleaning cloth. 

Q: What does a Twelve84® frame kit include? 

A: Our standard 80-piece kit includes representation of all our 40 active styles. You can also opt in to carry our new sunwear capsule collection. However, if you would like to curate a kit with specific frame options, we are happy to accommodate that request at no additional charge.
